The Unit of Molecular and Cellular Microbiology comprises five research teams with a broad range of expertise spanning gene regulation, at both transcriptional and post-transcriptional levels, host-bacterial pathogen interactions along with the ensuing innate and adaptive immune responses, essential components of the bacterial cell physiology and structure, and phage biology.
